My Lincolnshire Plum Bread
A cake-like "bread" naturally sweetened with dried fruit (sugar in the mixed peel) and enriched with a mix of vegetable fat and butter, instead of lard and butter, so that more people can enjoy it. This treat is traditionally eaten sliced with butter or cheese on top. Each loaf weighs 600g+.
Ingredients (allergens): wheat flour, milk, currants (include sunflower oil), sultanas (include sunflower oil), mixed peel (orange & lemon peel, glucose syrup, sugar, citric acid, sulphur dioxide), mixed spice (cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, cloves, fennel, ginger, caraway, pimento), vegetable baking fat (palm oil + rapeseed oil), butter, yeast, salt.
May contain traces of sesame and nuts.
